I’m Kolby

Get to know me. Here are 5 random facts about me:

• I LOVE the water. Lakes, rivers, oceans. I love being on my boat and wakesurfing. Fun Fact - I had my 15 mins of fame by wakesurfing at 41 weeks pregnant.

• I used to own an amazing bridal shop in the Twin Cities. I owned and operated it for 7 years before I sold it to another Colby. We focused on inclusivity and representing LGBTQ+, colorful dresses, and I tried to make my bridal shop look like a tattoo shop.

• I am an elder emo. I’ll always listen to my favorite bands - Alkaline Trio and Taking Back Sunday.

• I met my husband on match.com 14 years ago. We now have a dog and two kiddos thanks to donor egg IVF.

• I’ve loved tattoos since I was a kid. When I was 8, my dad said we could get matching tattoos when I turned 18. I now have over 25 tattoos and at 40 years old, I embarked on my tattoo apprenticeship!
